One.Product  Features

1.Reduce communication interference and extend communication distance

In pulse communication mode, the transmission cable of pulse signal is very vulnerable to electromagnetic interference, thus reducing the reliability of communication. However, EtherCAT bus communication can significantly improve the reliability of communication, reduce the impact of interference on commands and extend the communication distance due to the error detection, restriction and processing mechanism contained in the protocol. The product is applicable to strong electromagnetic interference environment and Class 100 clean environment.

2.Improved sportiness

The path planning in the bus communication stepping aperiodic synchronous mode is realized in the driver. The controller only needs to transmit the target position, speed, acceleration and other information to the driver. Therefore, the driver can internally predict the motion parameters of the next moment in advance, and then take feedforward measures to improve the motion performance.

3.Reduce the complexity of system wiring

Under the pulse communication mode, the controller needs to communicate with each driver through the pulse cable connection, which often causes dense cables and complex wiring of the machine equipment. Under EtherCAT bus communication mode, the controller only needs to be connected with one of the drives by cable, and other drives can be connected with the drive by chain.

4.Reduce the requirements for the number of control unit ports, thus reducing the cost and facilitating the expansion

Multiple bus based stepper drives require only one port to connect to the motion control unit (motion controller or motion control card) without the need for pulse modules and without the need to increase the number of control cards due to the number of drives, thus without considering the limit of the number of computer slots.
